Jigsaw Puzzle Competition

Jigsaw puzzles are a one-stop cognitive development and character-building activity. There are a few educational experiences that have the potential to teach such a varied range of thinking skills, as well as other useful skills such as patience and perseverance. Learning these skills can benefit you at any stage of your life. For example, jigsaw puzzles can teach you problem-solving strategies, project management skills, self-management skills, visual skills, cognitive skills, character development skills and social skills.
So, we at Orchids, plan activities for the physical, social and mental growth. Owning to the above mentioned importance, Orchids conducted Jig Saw Puzzle competitions for students of classes PP-I & PP-II on 25/10/13. During the competition children enjoyed each and every moment and made it a huge success. They had lots of fun and were completely involved in the activity.
